Send the link by text, and let people sign with a photograph

Short answer: on Good and above, a signer can get their link by SMS as well as by e-mail, and you can ask them to sign with a photograph taken on the signing page. The photograph stands beside their signature on the certificate. You look at it before the document is sealed. 100 texts and photographs a month are included, then 1 kr a text and 4 kr a photograph.

Step by step

For example: a new home-care client signs a consent form on their own phone, and you want a picture of who signed.

1. You

   You add the signer's name, e-mail address and mobile number, and choose Selfie as the way they sign.

2. VAMOSign

   VAMOSign e-mails the link and sends the same link by SMS from VAMOSign.

3. The signer

   The signer opens the link on their phone and reads the form. The page shows what will be recorded.

4. The signer

   The page asks for a photograph from the phone's camera. The signer takes it, ticks the box, types their name and signs.

5. VAMOSign

   VAMOSign e-mails you that a photograph is waiting for your look. The document is not sealed yet.

6. You

   You look at the photograph and approve it. If it is not right, you reject it with a note, and the signer is asked to sign again.

7. VAMOSign

   Once every photograph is approved, VAMOSign seals the PDF. The certificate page shows the photograph beside the signature, with the name and the time.

What it costs

SMS and selfie signing come with Good. It costs 49 kr a month, ex VAT. Each month 100 texts and photographs are included. After that a text costs 1 kr and a photograph 4 kr. Signing by e-mail stays free.

What it does not do

• The photograph is not an identity check. It is a picture of whoever held the phone, and you decide whether it will do.
• It does not replace the e-mail. The text carries the same link, and the letter still goes.
• It does not seal the document until you have looked at every photograph.

Does every signer need an e-mail address?

Yes. Every signer needs an e-mail address. The text is sent as well as the e-mail, not instead of it.

What if the signer's computer has no camera?

The page says so, and shows the link to open on a phone instead.

Who can approve a photograph?

The person who sent the request, and the workspace's owner and admins.

Does the text cost the signer anything?

No. The signer pays nothing. Texts are counted on your workspace.

Can I send a reminder by text?

Yes. A reminder goes by e-mail, and by SMS too when the signer has a mobile number.
