Let people sign by themselves, from a link you share

Short answer: publish a template as a form. It is a page at a link you share, with your own words above and below. Whoever opens it types their name and e-mail address, confirms the address with a code, and signs their own copy. You send nothing. Forms are part of Better, 99 kr a month, ex VAT.

Step by step

For example: a sports club's membership terms, shared on the club's website.

1. Once · You

   You save the membership terms as a template in VAMOSign.

2. Once · You

   You press Publish as a form on the template. VAMOSign makes a form page and gives you its address, a QR code and a copy button.

3. Once · You

   You write a line above the form and a line below it, in your own words, and put the link on the club's website.

4. Any day · A new member

   A new member opens the link and types their name and e-mail address.

5. Same minute · VAMOSign

   VAMOSign e-mails them a 6-digit code. The code works for 10 minutes.

6. Same minute · The member

   The member types the code. Only then do they see the terms, and they sign their own copy.

7. Next · The countersigner

   By default the template's countersigner, for example the club's secretary, signs after them. You can turn this off on the template.

8. When done · VAMOSign

   VAMOSign seals the copy and e-mails the sealed PDF to the member and to the club.

9. Any time · You

   The form's page lists everyone who came through it.

What it costs

Forms are part of Better. They cost 99 kr a month, ex VAT, or 990 kr a year. Each signature through a form is an e-mail signature and costs nothing extra.

What it does not do

• It does not show the document to anyone who has not confirmed their e-mail address with the code.
• It does not check who a person is beyond their e-mail inbox.
• It does not send anything by itself. People come to the link you shared.

Questions

Where can I put the link?

Anywhere a link works: your website, an e-mail, or a poster with the QR code.

What if the code runs out?

The person types their name and e-mail address again, and a new code comes.

Can I close the form?

Yes. Closing it stops new signatures and deletes nothing.

Can one template have two forms?

Yes. Each form gets its own address and its own list of people.
